Hair Clippers & Trimmers
The first electric clipper was developed on February 2, 1921 by the Wahl Clipper Corporation. This was the first clipper with the drive motor in the hand, rather than driven through a flexible shaft from a remote motor. This was a great improvement on former ways of cutting hair; the usual "scissors" took a long time and the electric clipper did the job in less than half the time.
