TThe Jiffy J-4000 professional garment steamer is a heavy-duty, high-capacity steamer designed for dependable commercial or frequent-use steaming. Made in the USA since 1940, the J-4000 features a durable solid die-cast aluminum outer housing, a 304 stainless steel internal boiler tank, all-brass fittings, and a powerful 1500-watt heating element. A convenient standby and steam setting allows the unit to reach standby temperature within approximately 15 minutes and be ready to steam within 2 minutes once at standby temperature. The 1-gallon (3.8-liter) water capacity provides up to 1 hour and 45 minutes of steam time per filling.This J-4000 includes a 6-inch (15-centimeter) wide plastic steam head and a flexible 5.5-foot (1.68-meter) rubber hose. A built-in sight gauge makes it easy to check the water level and monitor sediment buildup, while the boiler design eliminates water lines that could become clogged by hard-water deposits. Additional features include color-coded high-temperature wiring, swivel casters for easy mobility, and a 7-foot power cord with molded storage clip.Model J-4000 operates on 120 volts and 1500 watts with a NEMA 5-15 plug.
